Strategy Retreat/Environmental Review

This lesson will focus on the importance of conducting a strategy retreat and environmental review for boards. A strategy retreat is a dedicated time for board members to step back, evaluate the organization's current strategies, and develop new ones to align with future goals. An environmental review involves analyzing external factors that could impact the organization, such as market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.

During the strategy retreat, board members will have the opportunity to brainstorm, collaborate, and prioritize key initiatives. By re-evaluating the organization's mission, vision, and values, boards can ensure that their strategies are in alignment with their core principles. The environmental review will enable boards to identify potential risks and opportunities, allowing them to make informed decisions that drive organizational success.
